What’s a World View? Everybody has one. It's a basic way of looking at life — a way of interpreting people and events that pervades a person so thoroughly that it becomes a concept of reality: what is good, what is important, what is sacred, what is real. Here in LA, we have all kinds: from Materialism to Nihilism, Postmodernism to Deism — even unto Christianity! This class explores how to recognize world views, including your own, so that you can participate in the world of ideas in a respectful and honorable way.
